Pumpkin Patch!!!

I love the FALL season. The beautiful bright colors of the changing leaves, the crisp coolness in the air, making yummy soups and breadsticks, going to the pumpkin patch is another favorite tradition of the fall season. We were able to go with O's pre-school and then with some friends later in the week. Greg & O have to search the entire patch for the right pumpkin. I tell him the pumpkins far away look just about the same as the pumpkins that are close to us, but they insist on looking far away!!
Little C man rolling his pumpkin. He tried to carry it but it probably outweighed him by a few pounds.
He loved the tractor they had at the patch. He wanted to sit on it the entire time. That boy loves anything that has to do with a farm-guess it's in his blood.
The girls doing their Charlie's angels pose (well kind of)
O with one of her friends from preschool and gymnastics posing in front of the tractor.

O and her buddy from next door at the patch on preschool day!!

FROM THIS......

TO THIS.....
Our sweet O made it to the 5 year mark. After a pretty rough start to life (5 wks. in the NICU), she has grown and done remarkably well. We had a fun week celebrating her birthday, with lots of parties and treats!! She had her first friend birthday party. She wanted a CARNIVAL. It was so much fun but a lot of work to put together. Not to mention that G was out of town until the morning of but hey I have the best family to help me.
The ticket booth..made out of an old freezer box. There were lots of games (knockdown, face painting, clothespin drop, musical clowns, ping pong squirt, fish pond etc.)
My mom posing in front of the cute carnival sign that I found. The kids had a great time. O wanted to have the horse, Blackie, as one of the stations. The kids had fun riding the horse.
C flying down the slide on the bounce house. Our neighbors are awesome and let us borrow their bounce house for all the festivities.
O posing in the strong man picture. She had a great birthday and I can't believe she is already FIVE. She is so sweet (most of the time:) She is a wonderful helper to her mom and is a good friend to her brother, cousins and friends. WE LOVE YOU SIS!!!
