F-R-E-E-D-O-M?!!!!

Our family had a crazy weekend! After 9 years of serving as Stake President my dad was released yesterday!! Our family has more than doubled in that time!! So my dad is officially a FREE ? man!! I think my mom won't know what to do with him around!! We got a picture of the family but the kids were all tired!! We love you DAD and everything you do for our family!!We attempted again to try and get some family pictures but our kids are never very cooperative!! Oh well, such is life!!
Saturday night we had our annual Halloween Party with the McKinleys and Broughs (who couldn't come because their little boy got croup:( we really missed them!! We had dinner and carved pumpkins, which I forgot to take a picture of the final product!!! DUH, what an idiot I am!!
We dressed the kids all up and they actually all switched costumes around!! We were watching my sisters twins so we found some other random costumes to dress them in!! They had fun!!
My little MONSTER!! Whose child is this anyway? Oh, I believe that it would be MINE!! Friday morning I didn't think my kids would make it through the day. I was out writing down my grocery list and Caleb came out looking like this!! He had found the baby powder and had proceeded to get it EVERYWHERE!!! In all the diapers, the floor, his books, his BED!!! It took me forever to get it all cleaned up. Liv was laughing and of course helping. I then got in the shower and my two little ones were at it again!! This time it was makeup all over my white bedspread!! I was too upset and frustrated to take any pictures!!! After 5 washes and a lot of scrubbing I got most of it out. But this all happened before 10:30 AM. I didn't think we were going to survive the day!! Some days being a mother is so HARD!! But I just love my kids and wouldn't want it any other way!!!!!

FALL FUN!!

We have been having an absolutely FABULOUS FALL!! We have been playing this entire past week!! My grandma gave O a trip to Build A Bear for her birthday and last week we went down and added a new member to our family!! The elephant named "Cherrie Coka." Hilarious... we had a fun time down at Gateway. It was a beautiful day. We headed up to Island Park for the weekend and it was wonderful. We relaxed, rode the 4 wheelers, went to Big Springs, Greg took O fishing. It was lots of fun. C fell off the 4 wheeler onto a log and split his lip pretty good but he only cried for about 30 seconds and wanted to get back on the 4 wheeler!!
Monday night we had a shower for my cousin Jenny who just got the sweetest baby ever named Ellie Maxine!! It was so much fun to see all my cousins!! It was great to be together to laugh and cry!! I have the BEST family!!
Tuesday, O went to the dentist for the first time. Of course she was stubborn and it took a while before she would even open her mouth so we could count her teeth!! She has 20. It was quite the experience. She did get to pick out two prizes, she picked out some stamps and then proceeded to stamp all over her body. We're still trying to get the ink off!! After the dentist, we went with my mom and sis to the pumpkin patch. Always great fun when the 3 18month olds are together. It was windy but the kids loved it.
Today the kids had to go get their flu shots!! NOT a pleasant experience!! Thank heavens Stace came with me for back up reinforcement!! I couldn't have done it without her. After all the trauma we headed down to Gardner Village to go see the witches!! They were cute and the kids did pretty well. I'm loving the Fall colors!! It is such a beautiful world we live in!! I heart Fall!! What do you all heart?

O.K. Stace, this one is for you!! I've been tagged!! Here are 6 quirky things about me......

1. The first thing I do most mornings is make my bed!! I can't stand not to have it made, it drives me CRAZY!!! It makes me feel like I at least accomplished one little chore and it makes my room look a lot tidier!!

2. I am extreeeemely anal when it comes to loading the silverware in the dishwasher. I have to have everything separated ie forks, spoons, knives, little silverware etc. Each one then will be put in to the right slot with the handles sticking out (so when you unload them you don't touch the part that goes into your mouth, GERMS people!!) This makes it so much faster and efficient when you unload. You grab the handles and put them in the drawer, no sorting required!! I LOVE it!!

3. I AM A CLONE and a P1 listener!! I blame it all on my mom who got me hooked on Jim Rome and the jungle!! Anyone? anyone? I know Jeremy F. knows what I'm talking about. Romey is a radio talk show on from 10-1 everyday. Have a take!! Don't suck!! My favorite day of the year is the annual smack off!!! It's pretty fun to listen to but he definitely has to grow on you!! It's not for everyone but I get along with him pretty well!!

4. I always have to sleep with some sort of blanket or covering on me (even if it's 200 degrees) I hate not having something over me!!! It makes me feel NAKED!!!! ah, SCARY!!! I think that it's partly because I hate being cold. I'd rather be nice and toasty!!

5. I hardly ever pay FULL price for anything!! I got my grandma and dad's frugal genes!! I'm definitely not as bad as my father but I am the child that is most like him!! I love getting a good bargain!! It MAKES my day just so lovely!! I LOVE to shop for the deals!!

6. I absolutely ADORE ADORE ADORE SHOES!! They are my weakness, although I have scaled back immensly since I got married. I now love to buy shoes for my kids!! Little girls shoes are so fun to buy for and it seems like they always need new ones or a new season is coming. I love It!! I love boots for winter and I love flip flops and sandals for summer!! I am ready for the new season just to be able to change up the SHOES!!!

The Weekend of WIVUS!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our sweet Wivus!! We had such a wonderful weekend and played & partied all weekend long!! We LOVED it. I can't believe how old & big our little girl has become. She is strong willed with a little bit of sweetness!! Friday we went to the Treehouse with her cousins, they had a BLAST!!! Later that night, we to a friend's house for dinner then to the cutest Pumpkin Patch!! There was a fun Hay maze and cute little wagons to put your pumpkins in!! G was the man and picked us some great pumpkins. The mosquitoes were bad & chewed us alive. Saturday, my family came over to celebrate Bryan's and O's b-days. We had dinner, homemade ice cream and cake. Sunday, we celebrated O's and my niece's b-day, who shares the same b-day with O. So much FUN!!! We won't know what to do now that all the partying is over!! We love you Wivus!!
