THE ZOO!!!!

I decided to take the kids to the zoo on Tuesday because our pass expires today, and the weather was supposed to be yucky the rest of the week. We got up to the zoo and it was packed. There were so many schools and kids there it was CRAZY!! We went through pretty fast and the kids were so good. I can't believe how much better they have been lately as they have been getting older. I am really enjoying this stage of life. The little man was sad because the bears were gone to Oregon. The tiger cubs have gotten so big since the last time we were there. It was overcast and a perfect day.

After the zoo, I had a staff meeting and so we ran to that for a few hours. The little man fell asleep during the meeting. He was out COLD!! It was a great day!!O sitting on the famous elephant. The little man is still nervous about it!!

This was the only picture out of a lot where they were both semi looking at the camera.
The other night, the little man had fallen asleep in the car but when I carried him inside he woke up. O was having a bowl of cereal and the little man was sitting at the bar. I looked over and he was shoving the golden puffs in his mouth with his eyes shut. A few minutes after this, he wanted me to hold him and I put his jammies on put him to bed (it was only about 7.) He made it until 6:50 the next morning, so not too bad.

SaTurdAy!!!

What a FUN spring we have had this past few weeks. Saturday was an especially CRAZY day for O. From soccer, to two birthday parties she had a FUN-FILLED day!! They won their soccer game and she actually kicked the ball a few times. She is learning more and we haven't had the tears that we had in the fall season. Her first bd party was at a really fun place with lots of the big bouncy toys. Then her cute cousin Aubs had a princess party. She got to dress up, get her face painted and meet AURORA, who taught them how to twirl, and curtsie. What a GREAT day. The boys went to the farm and helped move some pipe!!

Sister O with the beautiful Aurora!!
These two little turkeys are usually up to NO good. Sister O has been sneaking into Little Mans room during the night and sleeping with him. This is how I found them the other morning.
Another year has come and gone for my hubby. He's one year older and wiser with a few more gray hairs to prove it. We had a fun birthday celebration for him. He's a great hubby, father and uncle!! Here's to another year and some more gray hairs :)

Happy Birthday Little Man!!

The little Man of our house hit the 3 year mark last week. We have had a fun week of celebrations. We celebrated with the little twinnies (who turned 3 the week earlier) all on Easter!! Cher made a cute HOPPY BIRTHDAY sign. Jordan channeled her inner Martha and made some delicious cakes. Her first time doing fondant and they turned out pretty good.
Zac and Jojo also gave him his first little gun with the rubber darts and he was loving it. I think the gun was broken by the first night but he did have a grand time with it.

On his real birthday it had snowed a good bit so we decided to head indoors down to the Discovery Gateway. My kids absolutely LOVE playing there so we had a fun, crazy, and busy afternoon!! Dad met us for dinner. We wanted to go to a restaurant where they would sing to him but as soon as he snarfed down his corndog, he sacked out for a power nap. He even fell asleep with a little bit of food still in his mouth.

We don't know what we would do without this Lifeful little boy in our lives. He was worth every minute of bedrest and shots and medications. We are glad he is healthy and developing appropriately. Yesterday he was playing outside in the backyard with all the kids and he came in later and had his first stinky, sweaty boy smell!!! I couldn't wait to throw him in the bath. Love you little man!!!

EASTER!!!!

PS I just got the camera and added some Egg Hunt fun!!

What a FABULOUS Easter Weekend we had!!!! Friday we went to Greg's 10 yr mission reunion and had a good time. His mission president brought letters they had written to themselves about what they thought about the future and their lives and it was really fun to read what he had written.
General Conference was great to watch. I have felt like I have been in a big RUT the last little bit. The talks given were just what I needed to give me a good kick in the butt and wake up call. Here's to some rejuvenation!!
Easter morning the kids were excited to find their baskets and see what the BUNNY brought. We had an egg hunt at the Flint's and then had a birthday extravaganza at the Crapo's. It was quite the day. Greg has the camera at work with all the pics from yesterday but here are some from last week with the kids in their Easter outfits. O was so excited because I let her pick out her own dress this year and she was so happy to finally get to wear it. For the life of me, I could not get a picture of the two of them together!! The little man would not stop for 2 seconds for a picture. Oh well, that's life. Happy rainy MOnday. Spring where have you gone? Please come back!!
