Happy Birthday to C Man!!!

So I can't believe that our sweet little boy turned 5 last week!! We had a pretty great Superhero party!! It sure was a lot of work for me but the kids had a great time!! I was a little surprised to wake up to the ground covered in snow but we improvised and everything turned out great! Here are the kids in the garage waiting to spray the bad guys off the tops of their buildings that they decorated. The garage was covered in silly string but it was awesome!!!
Here are some of the party favor bags that I made!! I thought they turned out pretty cute and it didn't take me too long to make them.
Here was our awesome city scape backdrop that we were able to borrow from one of my sisters neighbors!! It was so cool and took up a big portion of my wall!! We had a few signs/props for the kids to get their pictures done!! For the world of me I couldn't get a picture of my cute 5 yr old on his special day. He was way to busy playing and did not want to stop for pictures!! Oh well, I tried and hopefully that is worth something!
Here are the kids by the wall with the capes, masks, and armbands that I made!! This is what took me the longest amount of time to make but they were sure cute!! The capes were reversible and the little man LOVED the wristbands!! He's been wearing them around for weeks. He told everyone that the stars would give you special powers!!
Here are the sweet little girls with their little capes (just so they wouldn't feel left out) I had enough material left and we thought it would be cute for a picture....so here they are. I can't believe how big they are getting!!! They are the cutest little buddies!!
My sister, "Shugacher", is the most amazing sign maker, EVER!! She whipped this cute sign up in about an hour!! She is so talented and what is a party without an AwesoME sign? Thanks Cher!!
Here is one picture of my little guy..not the greatest quality...but hey, we were down in the basement and the lighting is terrible. This is him decorating his building. He obviously dressed himself in his most favorite things...jersey shorts and a t-shirt. He is such a great kid. He is smart and determined. He is tough but very sweet and sensitive. He is a great big brother and helper to me. He is my best sleeper!! He is my most snuggliest child!! I LOVE him to pieces and am so glad I get to raise him!! Love you buddy and Happy Birthday!!

THE ZOO!!!!

I decided to take the kids to the zoo on Tuesday because our pass expires today, and the weather was supposed to be yucky the rest of the week. We got up to the zoo and it was packed. There were so many schools and kids there it was CRAZY!! We went through pretty fast and the kids were so good. I can't believe how much better they have been lately as they have been getting older. I am really enjoying this stage of life. The little man was sad because the bears were gone to Oregon. The tiger cubs have gotten so big since the last time we were there. It was overcast and a perfect day.

After the zoo, I had a staff meeting and so we ran to that for a few hours. The little man fell asleep during the meeting. He was out COLD!! It was a great day!!O sitting on the famous elephant. The little man is still nervous about it!!

This was the only picture out of a lot where they were both semi looking at the camera.
The other night, the little man had fallen asleep in the car but when I carried him inside he woke up. O was having a bowl of cereal and the little man was sitting at the bar. I looked over and he was shoving the golden puffs in his mouth with his eyes shut. A few minutes after this, he wanted me to hold him and I put his jammies on put him to bed (it was only about 7.) He made it until 6:50 the next morning, so not too bad.

Happy Birthday Little Man!!

The little Man of our house hit the 3 year mark last week. We have had a fun week of celebrations. We celebrated with the little twinnies (who turned 3 the week earlier) all on Easter!! Cher made a cute HOPPY BIRTHDAY sign. Jordan channeled her inner Martha and made some delicious cakes. Her first time doing fondant and they turned out pretty good.
Zac and Jojo also gave him his first little gun with the rubber darts and he was loving it. I think the gun was broken by the first night but he did have a grand time with it.

On his real birthday it had snowed a good bit so we decided to head indoors down to the Discovery Gateway. My kids absolutely LOVE playing there so we had a fun, crazy, and busy afternoon!! Dad met us for dinner. We wanted to go to a restaurant where they would sing to him but as soon as he snarfed down his corndog, he sacked out for a power nap. He even fell asleep with a little bit of food still in his mouth.

We don't know what we would do without this Lifeful little boy in our lives. He was worth every minute of bedrest and shots and medications. We are glad he is healthy and developing appropriately. Yesterday he was playing outside in the backyard with all the kids and he came in later and had his first stinky, sweaty boy smell!!! I couldn't wait to throw him in the bath. Love you little man!!!

How Do You Sleep?

At our house, we have a funny little routine. We'll do the whole bedtime routine and get the kids in bed. Eventually, the little man will come out and say, "I need to tell you summthing" and I'll say what, then he replies in a whisper, "I LOOOOVE YOu!!" It's pretty cute the first few times and I tell him I love him too, but on about the tenth time my patience seems to be wearing thin. It is the end of another long day. Well, we told him to go back to bed and as we were going to bed we checked in on the kids and this is what we found. Hat on....check. Ball close by.....check.
Sweet Dreams little boy....
The next night we went through the same routine, told him to go back to bed and he ran off. We went to check in on the kids and of course sister was sound asleep in her bed, but the little man's bed was empty!!! We searched around wondering where he could have gone...he wasn't in by his sister, he wasn't by his toys or in the closet, we went into our room and here is what we found...
Tired little boy crawled up in mom and dads bed sound asleep......with his cars cars of course.
What a funny little man that is always keeping us on our toes but we love him to pieces!!!
